Mission Statement
We, the Church of San Bernardino, are a community of believers in Jesus the Christ, called to impact family, neighborhood, society with the Gospel so that people's lives are filled with hope.
Nosotros, La Iglesia de San Bernardino, somos una comunidad de creyentes en Jesus, El Cristo, llamados a impactar positivamente a la familia, el vencidario y la sociedad con El Evangelio, para que las vidas de las personas se llenen de esperanza.
Eucharistic Adoration began at Our Lady of the Rosary Cathedral in 1992 as a "First Friday" devotion following the 8:am mass and closing at noon with Benediction. Shortly after, it became a weekly Friday evening "Holy Hour" and as participation increased, we began building the weekly 80-hour program that we have today, which has been in place for over 15 years.
The primary purpose of Eucharistic Adoration is to bring Jesus deeper into the hearts of his children by increasing our reverence and developing an intimate relationship with Him in the exposed "Real Presence" of the Eucharistic. It affords everyone the opportunity to spend an hour with Jesus or just drop in for a few minutes when time is available.
